B&W Government Relations
The B&W Government Relations office - strategically located in the nation's Capital - oversees the overall government relations of The Babcock & Wilcox Company (B&W) with the United States Government, including Congress and the Executive branch, in addition to the company's interface with government officials and stakeholders at the local, state and international levels. The office also represents the corporation by maintaining ongoing relationships with multilateral institutions and industry associations. In addition, it is responsible for advising the corporation of broad cross-cutting plans, including strategic industry and market trends that impact B&W's ongoing operations and business development. The office also helps spearhead the alignment of B&W's technology research and development and other programs with emerging global, federal, state and local programs and policies.
