B&W’s BrightLoop Chemical Looping Technology Featured in Forbes

Posted April 9, 2024
B&W’s BrightLoop™ chemical looping technology is gaining worldwide attention as a viable, sustainable, effective solution for decarbonization and low-carbon hydrogen production.

The breakthrough technology – and landmark project built around it in Baton Rouge, Louisiana –  are featured in an article in Forbes magazine. The project will generate net-negative carbon intensity hydrogen from biomass fuel – hydrogen that can be used to fuel transportation, energy and hard-to-abate industries.

Kenny Young, B&W Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, was interviewed for the article. “We are taking steps to fast-track this technology to a commercial state,” said Young. “We will be as green as any project in the world.”
