B&W SPIG Recognized for Successful Cooling Tower Refurbishment in Egypt
(PARUZZARO, Italy – July 18, 2019) – SPIG, S.p.A., a subsidiary of Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises, Inc., has successfully completed a cooling tower refurbishment project for a methanol production facility in Damietta, Egypt, earning a letter of commendation from its customer, the Egyptian Methanex Methanol Company S.A.E.
SPIG provided materials and services for the upgrade of four of the plant’s cooling tower cells, using its proven service engineering expertise to execute the project safely, on-time and according to scope. SPIG also has supplied materials for four additional cooling tower cells for the second phase of the upgrade project.
SPIG Managing Director Alberto Galantini thanked the customer for the opportunity to execute the upgrade project.
