B&W SPIG recently earned top honors from an important customer, earning the coveted Best Supplier Award from Petro Rabigh, a Saudi Arabia-based hydrocarbon and petrochemicals producer and refiner. The award was announced at the customer’s annual Supply Chain Excellence forum in December.

The award cites B&W SPIG’s “outstanding performance, commitment and continued support,” as a supplier of cooling tower upgrades and other services to Petro Rabigh’s projects around the world.

“This is a cornerstone in our relationship with a very important client and will further strengthen the partnership we have built with them,” said B&W SPIG Managing Director Alberto Galantini. “I’d like to offer my sincere thanks to all of our team members for working with extraordinary passion, competency and customer focus. These are essential elements for ensuring outstanding delivery and cultivating strong relationships with our customers.”

Petro Rabigh General Manager of Material, Procurement and Contracts Michael Gustafson also recognized B&W SPIG’s contributions in a November 2018 article in Digital Supply Chain magazine.

“The notable suppliers that have been consistently reliable for our business include the likes of CS Japan, Gold Wing, Axens, EableBurgmann and SPIG,” Gustafson told Digital Supply Chain. “We’re highly dependent on the performance of these five outstanding suppliers/vendors in particular, as well as to the other 1,200 active suppliers in our network.”

Petro Rabigh, a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical, is B&W SPIG’s largest service customer.
